Sol VanNostrand is a seasoned mental health professional and life coach with over 20 years of experience guiding and supporting young individuals through their life challenges. As the founder of “The Pollination Project,” an educational organic farm in Santa Fe, New Mexico, he has mentored youth through intensive 6-month residential internships, offering them unique experiences that foster a connection to the world, health, and their higher selves. This initiative was not just about farming but served as a form of educational therapy, addressing the myriad questions and challenges the youth face today.

Additionally, Sol pioneered the Horticultural Therapy program at the Santa Fe Recovery Center, where he worked hands-on as a horticultural therapist. There, he primarily supported young individuals battling addiction, teaching them to regulate their nervous systems and make healthier life choices through the therapeutic act of gardening.

Sol’s dedication to his work is evident in his extensive non-institutional education with various mentors and teachers. With a profound understanding of trauma and a multitude of skills geared towards emotional and physical personal care, Sol is deeply passionate about aiding others, especially the youth, on their healing journey.
